Rapid Potable Water Incident Support & Stakeholder Communications (Remote Operations)

Client: Confidential
Sites: Confidential multi-site operation (camp + office + secondary project site)

Challenge
A remote resources operator required urgent technical and communication (internal and external) support following water quality concerns, escalating stakeholder pressure and a direct threat to the continuation of operations.

Project Overview:

Solutions Delivered

  • – Immediate incident briefing and interim action prioritisation (applying science and experience to the situation).

  • – Rapid mobilisation and independent “source‑to‑tap” inspection across the camp, offices, and a secondary project site to identify acute risks and define immediate controls.
  • – Field verification and sampling coordination to validate exposure controls.
  • – Implementation of an interim risk based control plan focusing on practical and measurable actions including: efficacy of treatment controls, targeted flushing, ongoing residual monitoring/recording, deadleg assessment, storage integrity improvements and other applicable controls pending the full risk assessment deliverables.
  • – Stakeholder navigation and communications support: Ecosafe supported the partner’s engagement with both internal and external stakeholders to provide a clear pathway to reestablishment of confidence and safe water systems.

Outcome/s
Focused risk-based incident response, ensured operational continuity, and improved stakeholder confidence through clear controls and communications.
