Key Skills Must Include the Following:

  • Science based degree or appropriate work experience
  • Interest and passion for water and public health  
  • Exemplary proficiency in excel and Microsoft Office Suite and database use and management
  • Exemplary interpersonal, communication and report writing skills
  • Dynamic and proven problem solving abilities
  • Driver’s license
  • Strong ethical and safety conduct
  • Mine site experience (desirable)
  • Water quality / in field sampling and monitoring experience (desirable)
  • Water industry experience (desirable)
  • Healthcare experience (desirable)
  • Sampling experience (desirable).

Key Responsibilities

As a summary the role will include the following key responsibilities:

  • General water and consulting administrative related services as agreed
  • Undertake sampling and inspection field work (mining, industry and health & aged care)
  • Manage and perform scheduled and adhoc water quality sampling, inspection and investigations (including incident investigations)
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to Client and internal procedures and work instructions
  • Use and implementation of innovative water quality compliance software
  • Set up, management and evaluation of water quality databases
  • Management of Client and laboratory relationships on behalf of Ecosafe
  • Management of field equipment calibrations and servicing
  • Assistance with undertaking water quality audits, risk assessments and reviews
  • Assistance with the generation of site specific water quality procedures and management plans
  • Water quality results interpretation and reporting
  • Provision of concise, accurate and timely written and verbal reports to clients
  • Awareness of business development opportunities
  • Health and safety related tasks including assistance with the management of internal OH&S system.
