WACHS operates an extensive number of hospitals and healthcare facilities across rural and remote Western Australia. Ecosafe Int. delivered comprehensive independent risk assessments and developed Water Risk Management Facility Plans (WRMFPs) for each site which included system risks, clinical risks and effective end-point management. We implemented robust and practical water management programs and provided staff training to ensure compliance with a number of Standards including AS/NZS 3666 and AS 5369 standards. The outcome was improved patient safety, reduced waterborne health risks, and strengthened governance, compliance and assurance across a remote regional health network.
